Someone recommended this to me, so, I checked it out. I was hesitant on buying it at first since I thought the prize was a bit much for only 92 pages, and also there were only a couple reviews so I was skeptical. I Read the sample and next thing I know I was done reading. I quickly devoured the pages in one meal. Wow what an awesome read! I loved the storyline and the characters. I so wished it was longer.

Special Assignment edition by Austen Thorne Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I read Austen Thorne's new short story Special Assignment in one sitting tonight (ok so I was actually laying) I liked it very much and really wished it was longer. (It's under 100 pages) It entails a secret service agent assigned to protect a Senator's daughter while he is running for president. The catch- daughter is in an Christian private school and the agent has to go undercover- as a priest! I enjoyed the characters and the writing and would recommend this to everyone, especially if like me you can't get enough of Secret Service agents!
I really enjoyed this book and would definitely read more by this author in the future. It has everything you want in a romance.
Author didn't do her homework, or ignored what she found. It's a fail when you set a story in an Episcopal school with the main character posing as clergy, and then getting a lot of the details about titles, roles and duties for Episcopal clergy wrong. The relationships and characters were not well-developed.
